Champions are women who have had a heart attack or stroke or have been diagnosed with life threatening cardiovascular disease. They are survivors who have made changes to their lifestyles to improve their health. In addition, they stand up to the stigma of heart disease and share their stories to make a difference in the fight to improve the diagnosis, treatment and research of women with heart disease.
